Beautiful Hair for Beautiful People: Price and History

Beautiful Hair for Beautiful People still costs 95 Robux and is not a Limited. Only the Neon Green and Space recolors resell, at 8,289 and 5,538 RAP.

Beautiful Hair for Beautiful People is a Roblox hair accessory that Roblox published on October 6, 2009, and it still sells in the catalog today for 95 Robux (R$). It is not a Limited, meaning Roblox never capped how many copies exist, so it has no resale market and no rising price. Two recolors in the same family did become Limiteds, Neon Green Beautiful Hair and Beautiful Hair for Beautiful Space People, and those change hands for thousands of Robux.

Quick answer: The original Beautiful Hair for Beautiful People costs 95 Robux and anyone can buy a brand new copy at any moment, so it will never be worth more than its shelf price. Of the twelve versions Roblox has published in this family, only Neon Green Beautiful Hair and Beautiful Hair for Beautiful Space People are Limiteds with a live resale market.

Beautiful Hair for Beautiful Space People Dec 3, 2016 Limited 5,538 44,280 5,200

RAP stands for Recent Average Price, a smoothed average of an item's past sales. The lowest ask is the cheapest copy another player has listed right now. Figures come from RBX Invest catalog data as of September 2, 2026.

What is Beautiful Hair for Beautiful People? Roblox's 95-Robux catalog hair

Beautiful Hair for Beautiful People

It is a plain black bowl-cut hairstyle that Roblox uploaded on October 6, 2009 under its own account, priced at 95 Robux, with the item description "You are all beautiful to me." Back then the avatar catalog was mostly hats, and a piece that read as actual hair stood out.

It caught on hard. Roblox's catalog currently counts roughly 1.79 million favorites on it, a number very few accessories reach. If you picture a mid-2010s Roblox avatar in your head, there is a good chance this hair is on it.

The important part for a collector is boring: Roblox never stopped selling it. Seventeen years later you can still buy a fresh copy for 95 Robux, and so can everyone else.

Is Beautiful Hair for Beautiful People a Limited? No, and that caps its value at 95 Robux

A Limited is an item Roblox stopped selling once a fixed number of copies existed. After that, the only way to get one is to buy it from another player, which is what creates a market price. Beautiful Hair for Beautiful People has never worked that way. Roblox's own catalog record lists it as not Limited and still for sale.

That single fact answers most of the questions people ask about it. There is no RAP on it, no resale floor, and no serial number stamped on your copy, because supply never stopped. Prices only move when supply is fixed and demand changes. If you want the full version of that idea, see our guide to what makes a Roblox Limited rare.

Roblox has occasionally moved an old catalog item off sale and later flipped it to Limited status, which is how some cheap catalog items ended up with resale prices. We wrote about offsale items going Limited separately. It could happen here, but nothing in the catalog record suggests it is coming, and buying 95-Robux hair on that hope is a gamble.

Every official Beautiful Hair variant, and which two are Limiteds

Roblox has published twelve items in this family between 2009 and 2019. Ten are ordinary catalog items with unlimited supply, and the two Limiteds are the only ones with a market. The list is ordered by what the resale market actually pays, then by release date. Price means the original sale price for the two Limiteds and the current catalog price for everything still on sale.

Pastel Hair for Beautiful People May 16, 2019 90 R$ On sale n/a Unlimited n/a

The purple and green versions have no thumbnail above because RBX Invest tracks Limiteds, and neither of those has ever been one. Purple is the oldest recolor of the lot, out three weeks after the original, and at 365 Robux it is the second priciest still on the shelf. The most expensive is Adurite Hair at 500 Robux, which borrows the texture from Roblox's Adurite line. The BIG version was a free release built to fit the Bighead and nothing else, and it is off sale now. It was never a Limited, so the copies people already own carry no serial numbers and cannot be resold.

Why is Neon Green Beautiful Hair the most valuable? Fewer copies than the Space version

Neon Green Beautiful Hair

Roblox published Neon Green Beautiful Hair on April 1, 2014 at 200 Robux, with a description about choices that are "weird and neon." Community records on the Roblox Wiki say it was switched to Limited status later that same year. Roblox's catalog now shows 23,265 copies in existence and no new ones for sale.

Its RAP sits at 8,289 with the cheapest listed copy at 8,000. That is roughly 40x the 200 Robux it originally sold for.

The reason it leads the family is supply. It has 23,265 copies against 44,280 for the Space version, so there are barely half as many to go around. When two items pull similar demand, the scarcer one prices higher, and that is the whole story here.

Beautiful Hair for Beautiful Space People: the galaxy recolor that went Limited in a sale event

Beautiful Hair for Beautiful Space People

This one arrived on December 3, 2016 at 95 Robux, the same price as the original, wearing a galaxy texture and the description "When Earth can't handle your beauty anymore, space is the only option." Roblox Wiki contributors record that it was converted to a Limited during the Memorial Day 2017 sale, one of the seasonal events we cover in our guide to how Roblox sale events work.

It carries 44,280 copies, an RAP of 5,538, and a lowest ask of 5,200. That is a large mint for a classic Limited, and the extra supply is the main reason it prices below the Neon Green.

For a first Limited, that liquidity is a feature. Something with 44,000 copies almost always has a buyer at some price, while a 50-copy item can sit unsold for months. Both of these sit in the same bracket you can browse on our Limiteds under 10,000 Robux page.

What you keep when you resell one

Both Limiteds are classic Limiteds, made by Roblox. On a resale, Roblox takes a 30% marketplace fee and the seller keeps 70%, so break-even is about 1.43x whatever you paid. A UGC Limited, meaning one made by a community creator, works differently: Roblox's marketplace fee documentation sets that resale split at 50% to the reseller, 10% to the creator, 10% to the affiliate and 30% to Roblox.

Run the numbers on the Neon Green. Buy a copy at the current floor of 8,000 Robux, resell it later at 8,000, and you receive 5,600 after the fee. To simply get your Robux back you need a sale near 11,500. Anyone quoting you a flip based on RAP alone has skipped that step.

Two more rules to know before you list anything. Selling a Limited requires an active Roblox Plus subscription on your account, though the buyer needs nothing. And a classic Limited you bought on resale is locked for 7 days before you can list it again, while one received in a trade is locked for 2 days. Our holding periods guide covers the exceptions.

None of this is financial advice. Limited prices fall as well as rise, and a hair recolor from 2014 has no floor beyond what the next collector will pay.

Why are there so many UGC "Beautiful Hair" items? Creators copied the name

Search the catalog for "Beautiful Hair" and you will drown in results. RBX Invest tracks more than 100 UGC Limiteds whose names borrow the phrase, from "Bluesteel Hair for Beautiful People" to bundles that stack a crown, a Clockwork and a beautiful hair into one product name.

Most of these homages are cheap, sell in the hundreds of Robux or less, and have nothing to do with the 2009 original beyond the words. They also behave differently from the classics: UGC Limiteds cannot be traded at all, only resold, and they carry a holding period of up to 30 days when you buy at launch or up to 7 days when you buy on resale. A holding period is the window after a purchase during which Roblox blocks you from listing the item again.

The naming overlap is the trap. A listing called "Frozen Beautiful Hair" is not a rare Roblox classic, and buyers who skim titles get caught. Check the asset ID and the creator before you pay, the same discipline we describe in our piece on fake Limiteds and name-squatting. If you want to shop the category properly, our UGC Limited hair collection ranks them live.

Collector's outlook: a cheap entry with real history

Neither Limited is a gem, the term we use for a scarce, high-value item like a Dominus. With 23,265 and 44,280 copies, these are volume items, and volume items track the mood of the whole market.

What they do have is nostalgia attached to a shape almost every player recognizes, the same quality that supports older hair Limiteds like the Shaggy line. Both currently list below their RAP, a small sign that sellers are slightly ahead of buyers right now. You can watch that gap yourself on the items leaderboard or catch listings below RAP in the Deals feed, which needs a signed-in account.

If you are buying for the avatar rather than the portfolio, the honest answer is that the 95-Robux original looks nearly identical from a distance and costs less than a snack. Buy the Limited because you want the version that stopped being printed, and treat any appreciation as a bonus.

Data provenance: release dates, prices, on-sale status and favorite counts come from Roblox's own catalog records; resale fee splits from Roblox's marketplace fees and commissions documentation; RAP, copy counts and lowest asks from RBX Invest catalog data as of September 2, 2026; the Limited-conversion dates for the Neon Green and Space recolors are community-documented on the Roblox Wiki and are not confirmed by an official Roblox source.

FAQ

Is Beautiful Hair for Beautiful People a Limited?

No. Roblox's catalog lists it as a regular item that is still for sale, so there is no copy cap, no serial number and no resale market. Only two recolors in the family, Neon Green Beautiful Hair and Beautiful Hair for Beautiful Space People, are Limiteds.

How much does Beautiful Hair for Beautiful People cost?

It costs 95 Robux, the same price it launched at on October 6, 2009. You buy it from Roblox directly, and there is no cheaper resale copy to hunt for because resale listings do not exist for non-Limited items.

Which Beautiful Hair is worth the most?

Neon Green Beautiful Hair. It carries an RAP of 8,289 with a lowest ask of 8,000 as of September 2, 2026, ahead of Beautiful Hair for Beautiful Space People at 5,538 RAP and a 5,200 ask. The other ten versions have no resale value at all.

Why is Neon Green worth more than the Space version?

Supply. Neon Green has 23,265 copies against 44,280 for the Space recolor, so there is roughly half as much of it in circulation. With similar demand on both, the scarcer one prices higher.

Can you still buy Beautiful Hair for Beautiful People in 2026?

Yes. The original and most of its recolors, including the purple, brown, red, green, blonde, orange, Adurite and pastel versions, are still on sale from Roblox. The BIG Bighead version is off sale, and the two Limiteds can only be bought from other players.

Can you trade the Beautiful Hair Limiteds?

Yes, because both are classic Limiteds made by Roblox, and the trade system supports those. Both players need an active Roblox Plus subscription, and a classic Limited received in a trade is locked for 2 days before you can move it again.

How much do you keep when you resell one?

You keep 70% of the sale price on a classic Limited, because Roblox takes a 30% marketplace fee. Selling at 8,000 Robux nets you 5,600, so a copy bought at 8,000 needs to sell near 11,500 before you are back to even.

Are the UGC "Beautiful Hair" items the same thing?

No. More than 100 community-made UGC Limiteds copy the phrase in their names, and they are separate items with their own creators, prices and rules. They cannot be traded, only resold, so check the asset ID and creator before buying anything that looks like the classic.
