Yes, you can own a Roblox Limited for well under 1,000 Robux. Of the 83,874 Limiteds carrying a live resale listing in RBX Invest catalog data as of September 6, 2026, 41,320 ask under 1,000 R$, 30,668 ask under 500, and 10,937 ask under 100. A Limited is an item that is no longer sold by Roblox or its creator, so the only way to get one is to buy it from another player. Almost every cheap one is a UGC Limited, meaning community-made: just 267 of the 2,498 classic Limiteds (the older Roblox-made items) currently listed have an ask under 1,000 Robux, and none at all sit under 100.
Quick answer: Roughly half of all Limiteds with a live listing ask under 1,000 Robux, but the cheap shelf is mostly community-made items. The lowest ask on any Roblox-made Limited we track is 105 R$. The catch is the resale fee: you keep 70% of the sale price on a classic Limited and 50% on a UGC one, so a 300 Robux buy has to sell for 429 or 600 just to get your Robux back.
| Lowest ask | Limiteds with a live listing | Of those, classic Roblox-made |
|---|---|---|
| Under 100 R$ | 10,937 | 0 |
| Under 500 R$ | 30,668 | 130 |
| Under 1,000 R$ | 41,320 | 267 |
| Any price | 83,874 | 2,498 |
Lowest ask means the cheapest price any owner currently has a copy listed at. If you have 500 Robux and you want a real Limited in your inventory today, you have thousands of choices. Whether any of them grows is a completely different question, and most of this article is about telling those two things apart.
Can you buy a Roblox Limited for under 1,000 Robux? Yes, about half of them
The cheap end of the market is enormous and it is almost entirely UGC Limiteds, the ones community creators publish. There are 41,053 of those asking under 1,000 Robux right now against 267 Roblox-made ones. That gap exists because the classic side barely grows: our catalog tracks 2,915 classic Limiteds in total, made across twenty years, against 175,617 UGC Limiteds published since the program started in April 2023.
A cheap price usually means one of three things happened.
The item was free or nearly free, and millions of people got one. Goldrow has 6,467,906 copies because Roblox gave it away in 2019, and it asks 317 Robux today. Kuddle E. Koala, which the Roblox Wiki records as a 10 Ticket purchase from January 2011, has close to two million copies and asks 798.
The item was sold in huge stock. Glossy Red Baseball Cap carries a stock cap of ten million copies, and 480,047 have been minted so far, meaning sold into players' inventories. Nothing that common gets expensive.
The hype ran out. This is the usual story on the UGC side. A creator drops an item, it sells fast at launch, resellers list it high, and three months later nobody is chasing it. The price settles at whatever ordinary players will pay to wear it.
Which cheap classic Limiteds can you buy right now?
These are Roblox-made Limiteds you could buy today for under 1,000 Robux, ordered by what you would actually pay. Copies, RAP and lowest ask are RBX Invest catalog data as of September 6, 2026. RAP stands for Recent Average Price, Roblox's slow-moving average of an item's past sale prices.
| Item | Copies | RAP | Lowest ask |
|---|---|---|---|
| 480,047 | 105 | 105 | |
| 6,467,906 | 297 | 317 | |
| 200,844 | 443 | 489 | |
| 339,861 | 640 | 648 | |
| 164,639 | 703 | 745 | |
| 1,977,368 | 695 | 798 | |
| 333,251 | 771 | 800 | |
| 75,321 | 756 | 800 | |
| 529,876 | 838 | 847 | |
| 490,578 | 884 | 929 | |
| 1,001,976 | 957 | 993 |
Look at the last column against the third. Every one of these asks within 15% of its own RAP, and eight of the eleven sit within 6%. That is what a healthy cheap item looks like: real sellers competing for a sale. When you see a cheap item whose ask is triple its RAP, you are looking at a listing nobody is going to hit.
The Turbo Builders Club Hard Hat is the pick I would give a new collector. The Roblox Wiki records that Roblox handed it to Turbo Builders Club subscribers from June 2009 until Builders Club was retired in September 2019, and that it only became a Limited in June 2022. You are buying a piece of the platform's old membership system for under 1,000 Robux. We told that whole story in from Builders Club to Roblox Plus.
For the full live list rather than my eleven picks, the Limiteds under 1,000 Robux collection and the under 500 collection rank every tracked item in those bands as prices move.
Which cheap UGC Limiteds are worth a look?
UGC Limiteds behave differently. Their prices swing harder, their RAP goes stale faster, and plenty of them sell below what the last buyer paid. Here are seven with live listings under 1,000 Robux, again ordered by what you would pay.
| Item | Copies | RAP | Lowest ask |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1,318 | 96 | 95 | |
| 1,999 | 278 | 245 | |
| 1,000 | 456 | 280 | |
| 1,000 | 663 | 399 | |
| 2,500 | 882 | 540 | |
| 250 | 1,124 | 600 | |
| 1,000 | 437 | 799 |
Six of those seven ask less than their own RAP. On the classic side that pattern is rare and usually means someone needs Robux quickly. On the UGC side it is normal, because RAP updates slowly and a lot of these sales happened months ago at hype prices. On a UGC item, an ask below RAP is the market telling you the RAP is out of date.
The last row is the opposite case. Korblox Aurora Star Crown asks 799 against a 437 RAP, so you would be paying about 83% over the average sale price for the privilege of buying it right now. That is the definition of a projected item, an item listed far above what it actually trades for, and we cover how to spot them in our guide to projected items.
Copy counts on UGC Limiteds are worth reading carefully. Black Iron Chain Horns shows 1,318 copies against a stock cap of 3,000. A stock cap is the most the creator was ever allowed to sell, and the number that actually exists is often much smaller, so read the copies figure rather than the cap.
What do fees do to a cheap flip? They take 30% to 50%
This is the part that catches new traders, and at these prices it decides everything.
Roblox's marketplace documentation sets the resale splits. On a UGC Limited resale, 50% goes to the reseller, 10% to the creator, 10% to the seller or affiliate, and 30% to Roblox. You keep half. On a classic Roblox-made Limited, the marketplace fee is 30% and you keep 70%.
Run it on round numbers:
- Buy a UGC Limited for 300 R$. You need to sell at 600 R$ to break even. That is double.
- Buy a classic Limited for 700 R$. You need to sell at 1,000 R$ to break even. That is about 1.43 times your cost.
Doubling a cheap item takes real demand. Buy a 95 Robux item, sell it for 300, and after the 50% split you are up 55 Robux.
Two more costs nobody mentions in the trading videos. Reselling a Limited requires an active Roblox Plus subscription on your account, which is $4.99 USD a month, while the buyer needs nothing. Trading also needs Roblox Plus on both sides, and it only works on classic Limiteds. UGC Limiteds cannot be traded at all, ever. They change hands through Marketplace resales only.
There is a holding period too, meaning a stretch of time after you get an item when Roblox will not let you sell it. Buy a Limited on the resale market and the hold runs up to 7 days. Buy a UGC Limited at launch from its creator and it runs up to 30 days. Classic Limiteds received in a trade are held 2 days. Our holding periods guide has the full table.
None of this is financial advice. Robux you spend on a Limited is gone until somebody chooses to buy it back from you, and at the cheap end plenty of items never find that buyer.
Does a cheap Limited ever grow? Chill Cap went from 15 Robux to 800
Sometimes, yes. The Roblox Wiki records that Roblox published Chill Cap on November 20, 2015 for 15 Robux, and that it went Limited during the Memorial Day 2017 sale with more than 335,000 copies already sold. Today its RAP is 771 and the cheapest copy asks 800. Anyone who bought a 15 Robux hat in 2015 and kept it is up roughly 50 times.
That is the honest upside case, and notice what it required: eleven years, a conversion to Limited status that nobody could predict, and no way to know in 2015 that this hat rather than the hundreds of others would be the one. Our piece on offsale items going Limited explains why that conversion is the single biggest thing that can happen to a cheap item.
The pattern repeats across the cheap classic shelf. Back Axe Guitar sold for 250 Robux in 2017 and asks 648. Katana Traveling Pack sold for 75 in 2016 and asks 489. These are good outcomes on small money.
What should you avoid when a Limited is cheap?
Start with the cautionary tale. Festive Narwhal has one of the strangest histories on Roblox. Community documentation on the Roblox Wiki says it began life as a 5 Robux Little Fish that grew larger and doubled in price roughly every month, finishing its run priced at 10,240 Robux before it went off sale in January 2015. Roblox converted it to a Limited in December 2016. It asks 800 today. Whoever paid the final sticker price is down about 92%.
That is the general lesson for cheap buying. Paying a hype price at launch is where most Robux gets lost. A small price for an old item that has already found its level is a much smaller risk.
Four more things to skip:
Items with a huge ask-to-RAP gap. If the cheapest copy asks 900 and RAP is 300, you are the one paying for someone else's exit.
One-copy UGC items you have never heard of. Anyone can publish a UGC Limited with a tiny stock. Low copies alone mean nothing without buyers, and our article on why Limiteds get listed for billions shows how meaningless a price can be when nobody is trading.
Anything you are buying only to flip next week. The fee math above says the price has to move 43% on a classic item and 100% on a UGC item before you break even. That does not happen in a week on a 300 Robux hat.
A brand new drop whose price has not settled. Give a fresh UGC Limited a few weeks and the ask usually falls toward what players will pay to wear it.
How do you find cheap Roblox Limiteds on RBX Invest?
Four tools, in the order I would use them.
Start at the collections hub and open the price band you can afford: cheap Limiteds under 100 Robux, under 500, or under 1,000. Each one ranks live, so what you see is what is actually listed today.
Screen with the items leaderboard when you want to sort by copies, RAP or price rather than browse a theme. It is the fastest way to see whether a cheap item's ask is sitting near its RAP or miles above it.
Watch the deal feed for copies listed below RAP. It needs a signed-in account, and it is where the genuinely underpriced cheap items show up first.
Check the item's own page, like Chill Cap's, before you buy anything. Copies, RAP, the lowest ask and the price history are all on one screen, and the gap between the ask and RAP tells you most of what you need to know. If you are still working out how to read those numbers, start with what RAP means and then how to start trading Roblox Limiteds.
Copies, RAP, lowest ask and original sale prices in this article are RBX Invest catalog data as of September 6, 2026; the resale splits come from Roblox's marketplace fees and commissions documentation; the release and Limited-conversion dates for the classic items come from the Roblox Wiki on Fandom.
FAQ
What is the cheapest Roblox Limited you can buy?
Among Roblox-made classic Limiteds, the lowest ask we track is 105 Robux for the Glossy Red Baseball Cap, in RBX Invest catalog data as of September 6, 2026. Across the whole market, including community-made UGC Limiteds, 10,937 items have a live listing under 100 Robux, so the true floor is far lower.
How many Roblox Limiteds cost under 1,000 Robux?
41,320 of the 83,874 Limiteds with a live resale listing ask under 1,000 Robux, which is about half the market. Only 267 of those are classic Roblox-made Limiteds; the rest are UGC Limiteds published by community creators.
Can you make a profit flipping cheap Roblox Limiteds?
Rarely, because the fees are proportional. Roblox's marketplace documentation gives a UGC Limited reseller 50% of the sale price and a classic Limited seller 70%, so a cheap item has to sell for double or roughly 1.43 times what you paid before you see a single Robux of profit. On a 300 Robux item, doubling your money earns 300 Robux.
Do you need Roblox Plus to buy a cheap Limited?
No. Buying a Limited on resale needs no subscription at all. Selling one does: reselling a Limited requires an active Roblox Plus subscription on the seller's account, and trading classic Limiteds requires it on both sides of the trade.
Why are UGC Limiteds so much cheaper than classic Limiteds?
Because there are far more of them and they are far younger. Our catalog tracks 175,617 UGC Limiteds published since April 2023 against 2,915 classic Limiteds made across twenty years. Supply that large keeps most UGC prices near what an ordinary player will pay to wear the item.
Is a cheap Limited a good first item to own?
It is a good way to learn the mechanics for a small amount of Robux. You get to see how a resale purchase, a holding period and a listing actually work without risking much. Just make sure it's an item you like, because there's no guarantee it grows.
Why is a Limited's asking price sometimes lower than its RAP?
Because RAP is a slow average of past sales. When demand for an item falls, sellers cut their asks straight away while RAP takes many sales to catch up. Six of the seven UGC Limiteds in the table above ask less than their own RAP for exactly that reason.
How long before you can resell a cheap Limited you just bought?
Up to 7 days if you bought it on the resale market, and up to 30 days if you bought a UGC Limited at launch from its creator. Classic Limiteds picked up in a trade are held for 2 days. The hold applies no matter how cheap the item was.
