Its Roblox description skips the usual joke and quotes a graveyard poem instead: "The paths of glory lead but to the grave." For a Halloween release, that was unusually moody, and collectors have always liked it for that.

The Ethereal Ghost Egg appeared on April 5, 2012 during that spring's egg hunt, and 53,126 copies exist. Its Roblox description is a single Ghostbusters nod: "Who you gonna call?" What drives the ghost family's premium? Halloween timing plus tiny gear supply
Three things push these prices, and they stack.
Supply is the first. Ghostwalker's 93 copies and the Ghostfire Sword's 199 are small numbers by any standard, and Roblox never restocked either one.
Halloween is the second. Five of the six shipped in September or October, which puts them in the same seasonal bucket as the zombie Limiteds and the Pumpkin Head line. Seasonal collectors shop for these in the weeks before Halloween, and thin items react to even a handful of extra buyers.
Age is the third. Anything Roblox published before 2012 carries a nostalgia premium now, and 2010 gear especially. The buyers who remember paying 12,000 R$ for Ghostwalker are the same people who can afford eight-figure listings today.
What does not drive these prices is usefulness. Gear only works in experiences that switch it on, and Roblox's own support pages say most experiences don't allow gear, so nobody is buying a Ghostfire Sword to fight with it.
