Roblox back accessory Limiteds are the capes, wings, swordpacks and back-mounted blades that hang off your avatar's back slot, and the expensive ones are a very short list. RBX Invest catalog data as of October 2026 counts 165 classic back accessory Limiteds and 30,269 UGC Limited ones, but only 18 of the classics hold a RAP above 100,000 R$. A Limited is an item released in a fixed number of copies, which owners can then resell to each other. RAP stands for recent average price, Roblox's smoothed average of everything an item has ever sold for. The slot's leader on trader consensus is Wings of Liberty, which has only 50 copies, while Interstellar Wings carries the highest RAP in the slot at 854,236 R$.
Quick answer: The back slot's top classic Limiteds are Wings of Liberty (50 copies) and Interstellar Wings (RAP 854,236 R$), and almost every other six-figure back accessory is an Immortal Sword. On the UGC side, roughly 175 of 30,269 back accessories reach a RAP of 10,000 R$ or more, so most of that pile is worth pocket change.
| The back slot at a glance | Figure |
|---|---|
| Classic back accessory Limiteds | 165 |
| UGC Limited back accessories | 30,269 |
| Classic back accessories with RAP above 100,000 R$ | 18 |
| UGC back accessories with RAP of 10,000 R$ or more | 175 |
| UGC back accessories with exactly one copy | 2,933 |
| Highest RAP in the slot | 854,236 R$ |
What counts as a back accessory Limited? Anything that clips to your avatar's back
Roblox files every avatar item into a slot, and the back slot is where capes, wings, backpacks, swordpacks (two blades strapped across the back) and single back-mounted swords live. Roblox's marketplace documentation describes accessories as separate Marketplace items that are not part of the body itself, including wings and tails. In our catalog that slot holds 165 classic Limiteds and more than 30,000 UGC Limited ones.
Two kinds of Limited sit in that slot, and they behave differently.
Classic Limiteds are the ones Roblox made itself. You can trade them with other players, and the expensive ones often change hands that way. UGC Limiteds are made by community creators, they launched in April 2023, and they are not tradeable at all: they change hands only through Marketplace resales. That difference matters when you read a price, because a classic back accessory with no sensible resale listing may still be changing hands every week inside trades.
A few more terms worth pinning down before the tables. Copies means the total number ever minted, which is fixed. The lowest ask, also called the resale floor, is the cheapest copy currently listed by an owner. A projected item is one whose RAP sits above what buyers will actually pay, usually after a few deliberate overpays. Both versions of that problem, RAP too high and RAP too low, turn up in the tables below. Our RAP explainer walks through the formula if you want the math.
Which Roblox back accessory Limited is worth the most? Wings of Liberty, on 50 copies
Wings of Liberty launched in May 2016 at 50,000 R$ with 50 copies, the thinnest print (the number of copies ever minted) of any serious back accessory, and trader consensus puts it at the top of the slot even though nineteen other back accessories carry a higher RAP. The table below is ordered by consensus street value, the price traders actually pay in deals. The RAP column sits next to it so you can see where the two disagree.
| Item | RAP | Copies | Lowest ask |
|---|---|---|---|
| 107,875 R$ | 50 | 999,999,999,999 R$ | |
| 854,236 R$ | 100 | 5,500,000 R$ | |
| 554,374 R$ | 100 | 173,000,000 R$ | |
| 476,644 R$ | 100 | 964,852,371 R$ | |
| 222,836 R$ | 101 | 9,999,999,999 R$ | |
| 176,536 R$ | 100 | 6,000,000 R$ | |
| 126,911 R$ | 102 | 800,000 R$ | |
| 158,188 R$ | 100 | 1,800,000 R$ | |
| 284,614 R$ | 100 | 750,000 R$ | |
| 94,293 R$ | 100 | 30,000,000 R$ |
Look at the ask column before you panic. Several of those listings sit in the hundreds of millions, and one is twelve digits long. Those are placeholder prices from owners who have no intention of selling, and we wrote about Limiteds listed for absurd numbers separately. On a 50-copy or 100-copy classic, the real trading price lives in trades and in private deals, so the floor tells you almost nothing.
The RAP column misleads in the other direction. Wings of Liberty shows a RAP of 107,875 R$ against Interstellar Wings at 854,236 R$, which would suggest Interstellar is eight times the item. Traders disagree, and the reason is sale frequency. With 50 copies and a decade of mostly trade activity, Wings of Liberty barely registers a Marketplace sale, so its RAP froze years ago while the item kept appreciating in trades. RAP is an average of sale history, and an item that stops selling stops updating. Interstellar Wings, by contrast, has seen enough high sales to carry its number honestly.
The other pattern is obvious once you scan the names: six of the ten are Immortal Swords. Roblox ran that line from 2016 to 2019 at prices between 10,000 and 25,000 R$, and the ones that still matter were capped at or near 100 copies. Tiny stock plus a famous family name is most of why they sit where they do. The full story is in our Immortal Sword series history, and the wings side is covered in the Freedom Wings series history.
Cheaper back accessory Limiteds: what you can still buy under 200,000 R$
Not every back accessory needs a trade and a week of negotiation. These five all have hundreds or thousands of copies, which means real listings and a price you can just pay.
| Item | RAP | Copies | Lowest ask |
|---|---|---|---|
| 152,249 R$ | 3,177 | 19,999 R$ | |
| 141,949 R$ | 958 | 155,000 R$ | |
| 70,095 R$ | 1,001 | 59,500 R$ | |
| 70,011 R$ | 366 | 30,000 R$ | |
| 62,446 R$ | 323 | 50,000 R$ |
The Gucci bag is the loudest lesson in that table. Its RAP reads 152,249 R$ while you can buy one today for 19,999 R$. That gap opens when an item sells hot for a while and then cools: the old expensive sales are still baked into the average, and the smoothing drags the number down slowly. When the floor sits far below RAP on an item with thousands of copies, believe the floor.
Overseer Wings of Terror and Vault Swordpack show the healthier shape, where the ask sits within shouting distance of RAP. That is what a liquid item looks like, and it is the kind of price you can act on without guessing.
Are UGC Limited back accessories worth buying? Only about 175 of 30,269 clear 10,000 R$
The back slot is the third-largest UGC Limited category in our catalog, behind hats and neck accessories, at 30,269 items. The value is concentrated at the very top. About 175 of them carry a RAP of 10,000 R$ or more, and 11,423 sit under 100 R$. Creators figured out early that capes, wings and giant weapons sell, so the category filled up fast with near-identical swords and scythes.
| Item | RAP | Copies | Lowest ask |
|---|---|---|---|
| 680,640 R$ | 99 | 555,555 R$ | |
| 67,716 R$ | 10 | 500,000 R$ | |
| 43,956 R$ | 50 | 79,999 R$ | |
| 41,328 R$ | 10 | 100,000 R$ | |
| 30,370 R$ | 10 | 79,999 R$ |
Smite Hammer is the one everybody knows, a 99-copy item from May 2023, the first weeks of UGC Limiteds, and its RAP of 680,640 R$ beats every classic back accessory except Interstellar Wings. We covered its run in our piece on the QT Bandana and Smite Hammer.
Be careful with the long tail. Our catalog holds 2,933 UGC back accessories with exactly one copy, and a one-copy item's RAP comes from a single sale, so a creator who sold one cape to a friend for 100,000 R$ has an item that reads like a gem (our word for a scarce, high-value Limited) and has never had a second buyer. Before you treat any thin UGC back accessory as valuable, check whether copies are actually listed and whether anything has sold since launch week. You can browse the whole category, sorted live, at UGC Limited back accessories.
What do you keep when you resell a back accessory? 70% on a classic, 50% on a UGC
The slot does not change the fees, but the type of Limited does. Roblox's marketplace documentation sets the resale split on a community-created Limited at 50% to the reseller, 10% to the creator, 10% to the seller or affiliate and 30% to Roblox. So a UGC cape you flip for 100,000 R$ pays you 50,000 R$, and you need to resell at twice what you paid just to break even. Classic Limiteds carry a 30% marketplace fee, which leaves the seller 70%: sell that Ornate Back Katana for 100,000 R$ and 70,000 R$ lands in your account, with break-even around 1.43 times your cost.
Holding periods apply too, and they are the thing new resellers forget. A holding period is the wait Roblox forces between buying an item and being allowed to resell it. Buy a UGC Limited from the creator at launch and you wait up to 30 days before you can resell it, which Roblox's documentation states directly. Buy one on the resale market and the wait is up to 7 days. Classic Limiteds have a 7-day hold after a resale purchase and a 2-day hold after a trade. Reselling also requires an active Roblox Plus subscription on the selling account, though whoever buys your copy needs nothing. Our holding periods guide has the full picture.
None of this is financial advice. Limited prices move on demand that can vanish, and a back accessory you overpay for can sit unsold for months.
How the back slot grew: swordpacks in 2009, Freedom Wings in 2016
The oldest back-slot Limiteds in our catalog are from December 2009, including the original Swordpack, which minted 131,918 copies and now carries a RAP of 1,532 R$. The Roblox Wiki describes swordpacks as among the first items that could be worn on the back, and that era's prints were enormous, which is why those early items are cheap today even though they are ancient.
Scarcity arrived later. By 2013 Roblox was running back accessories like Royal Faerie Wings at 1,000 copies, and in May 2016 it launched the Freedom Wings line. The Roblox Wiki documents that series as retextures of Wings of Liberty sold at original prices up to 50,000 R$ with stock between 50 and 100 copies, and it names Wings of Liberty and Interstellar Wings as the two most valuable back accessories on the platform, which matches what traders pay today. The Immortal Sword line ran on the same model from 2016, and between those two families you have nearly every expensive item in the slot.
The UGC era mostly added breadth at the bottom. Thousands of creators can publish a cape now, and they have, while the top of the slot stayed with a few 2016-era prints and a handful of 2023 hits.
How to track back accessory Limiteds on RBX Invest
Live, ranked pages beat a static list. The classic back and neck accessories collection covers the Roblox-made side of the slot, the wings collection and the swords collection cut it by shape, and UGC Limited back accessories ranks the community side. For the top of the whole market, the items leaderboard and most expensive Limiteds put back accessories in context against hats and faces.
If you resell, the reseller terminal tracks your listings and positions, and the deal feed flags copies listed under their usual floor, which is where cheap back accessories with real liquidity tend to show up. Deals needs a signed-in account.
Figures in this article come from RBX Invest catalog data as of October 2, 2026, with fee, commission and holding-period rules verified against Roblox's Marketplace documentation at create.roblox.com/docs/marketplace the same day, and series history corroborated with the Roblox Wiki.
FAQ
What is the most valuable Roblox back accessory Limited?
Wings of Liberty leads the back slot on trader consensus, with 50 copies and a RAP of 107,875 R$. Interstellar Wings carries the slot's highest RAP at 854,236 R$. Those two are the most valuable back accessories in the catalog, and the Roblox Wiki documents the same ordering.
How many Roblox back accessory Limiteds are there?
RBX Invest catalog data as of October 2026 counts 165 classic back accessory Limiteds made by Roblox and 30,269 UGC Limited back accessories made by community creators. The back slot is the third-largest UGC Limited category after hats and neck accessories.
Can you trade back accessory Limiteds on Roblox?
You can trade classic back accessories, because Roblox's trade system supports Roblox-made Limiteds only. UGC Limited back accessories cannot be traded at all and change hands exclusively through Marketplace resales. Trading also requires an active Roblox Plus subscription on both accounts.
Why is the lowest ask on some back accessories in the billions?
Because the owner does not want to sell. On items with 50 or 100 copies, holders often list a copy at an absurd price as a placeholder, which leaves the resale floor meaningless. Wings of Liberty and Immortal Sword: The Heartshaker both carry asks of ten digits or more while the real action happens in trades.
How much do you keep when you resell a back accessory?
You keep 50% of the sale price on a UGC Limited, per Roblox's marketplace documentation, and 70% on a classic Limited after its 30% marketplace fee. A UGC cape sold for 100,000 R$ pays you 50,000 R$, so break-even is twice your cost. The same sale on a classic pays 70,000 R$.
Are cheap UGC Limited back accessories worth buying?
Usually not, since only about 175 of the 30,269 UGC back accessories in our catalog carry a RAP of 10,000 R$ or more, and 11,423 sit under 100 R$. Check that copies are actually listed and that sales happened after launch week before you pay anything for a thin one.
What was the first Roblox back accessory Limited?
The oldest back-slot Limiteds in the RBX Invest catalog date to December 2009, including the original Swordpack, which minted 131,918 copies. The Roblox Wiki describes swordpacks as among the first items wearable on the back, and their huge prints are why 2009 back accessories are inexpensive today.
Why does a back accessory have a high RAP but a low price?
That gap means RAP is stale. The Emerald Gucci Blondie Bag reads a RAP of 152,249 R$ while copies list at 19,999 R$, because expensive older sales are still inside the average and RAP moves one tenth of the way toward each new sale. On items with thousands of copies, the lowest ask is the better number.
