Which Roblox UGC Creators' Limiteds Hold Value?

Which Roblox UGC creators' Limiteds hold value? Only 37% of paid UGC drops ever reach 2x their launch price. See which creators clear 2x on 85% of drops.

Most people who publish a Roblox UGC Limited never make one that doubles in price. Of the 22,693 UGC creators in the RBX Invest catalog, 2,289 have even one paid Limited now trading at twice its launch price. Across the 35,243 paid UGC Limiteds that have recorded at least one resale, 87.5% currently sit above the price they first sold for, and only 37.0% have reached twice that price. Twice is the number that decides whether a buyer made money, because Roblox's marketplace documentation gives a reseller 50% of a community-made Limited's resale price. A small group of creators clears that bar most of the time: 82 creators have published 40 or more paid drops that later resold, and the best of them clear 2x on more than 80% of their tracked drops.

Quick answer: A UGC Limited (a Limited made by a community creator) holds value when its RAP, the rolling average of its recent sale prices, reaches about twice its launch price. Only 37% of paid UGC Limiteds with a resale record get there. Creators such as marinusss, HulaHoopman6 and Artsshoria clear 2x on 84% to 86% of their drops, and cheap drops clear it far more often than expensive ones.

What does it mean for a UGC Limited to hold value? It has to double

A Limited is an avatar item with a fixed number of copies. Once the creator's stock runs out, the only copies left are the ones players already own, and those owners can list them for resale in Robux (R$). A UGC Limited is one made by a community creator. A classic Limited is one Roblox made itself. A drop is a creator's release of a new Limited, and its launch price is what the creator charged while stock lasted.

The resale split is where the 2x rule comes from. Roblox's marketplace fees and commissions page sets the breakdown for a community-created Limited resale at 50% to the reseller, 10% to the original creator, 10% to the seller or affiliate (the owner of the experience when the sale happens inside a game), and 30% to Roblox. You keep half. Buy a copy for 500 R$ and you need to sell it for 1,000 R$ to get your 500 back. Sell at 900 and you collect 450, which leaves you down 50 R$ even though the price went up.

RAP stands for Recent Average Price. Roblox updates it after every sale using the formula New RAP = Old RAP + (Sale Price − Old RAP) / 10, so it moves gradually toward whatever copies actually sell for. It is the cleanest single number for asking whether a drop held its value, and it is the one we use through this article. Our full explainer on RAP covers where it misleads. The other number that matters is the lowest ask, the cheapest copy listed right now, which traders call the floor.

Two rules shape how long you wait. Buy from the creator at launch and you wait up to 30 days before you can list the copy. Buy a copy from another player and the wait is up to 7 days. Reselling also needs an active Roblox Plus subscription on your account, though the person buying from you needs nothing.

Which Roblox UGC creators have the best record? These nine clear 2x most of the time

The table below covers creators with at least 40 paid drops priced between 100 and 100,000 R$ that have recorded a resale. That floor of 40 drops matters. Plenty of creators have one lucky hit, and one hit tells you nothing about the next release.

Creator Paid drops tracked Share that reached 2x Median price vs launch Average launch price
HulaHoopman6 42 86% 4.2x 387 R$
marinusss 149 85% 5.4x 329 R$
AlexAstral Studios 68 85% 3.4x 162 R$
Artsshoria 92 84% 5.3x 296 R$
Eternal Dazzle 90 81% 4.1x 319 R$
Builder_Boy 87 78% 4.0x 283 R$
Dino’s games 78 77% 3.9x 706 R$
Luka's Workshop 64 77% 6.4x 163 R$
Yourius 92 73% 3.8x 830 R$

Look at the average launch price column. All nine average under 1,000 R$ a drop, and seven of them average between 150 and 400 R$. That is the pattern the whole market shows, and the next section explains why.

Big catalogs are a different business

The creators with the largest catalogs barely appear in this analysis, because most of what they publish is free. Habit Games! has 1,241 Limiteds tracked and 1,238 of them were published at 0 R$. Blightborne has 748, with 732 free. Across the platform, 143,894 of 190,626 UGC Limiteds went out free, which is roughly three in every four.

Free Limiteds work differently for the creator. Roblox's documentation says the creator pays a per-unit fee to publish them and Roblox keeps that fee in full, so the creator's earnings arrive later, through the 10% commission on every resale. For a buyer, a free drop that thousands of people claimed in an afternoon carries an enormous supply and rarely develops a resale price worth chasing.

Why do cheap UGC drops hold value more often than expensive ones?

Because a small launch price leaves room above it. Here is the same 35,243-item population split by what the creator charged.

Launch price Drops tracked Reached 2x Above launch price Median price vs launch
Under 100 R$ 16,196 33% 95% 1.02x
100 to 249 R$ 7,955 50% 90% 2.00x
250 to 499 R$ 4,140 47% 79% 1.84x
500 to 999 R$ 2,904 34% 75% 1.35x
1,000 to 4,999 R$ 2,895 22% 69% 1.14x
5,000 R$ and up 1,153 6% 72% 1.00x

The 100 to 249 R$ band is the sweet spot, with half of all drops reaching 2x and a median that lands exactly on the break-even line. Above 1,000 R$ the odds collapse. Only 22% of drops in the 1,000 to 4,999 R$ band doubled, and above 5,000 R$ it is 6%.

The band under 100 R$ looks strange at first: 95% of those items are above their launch price, the highest share in the table, yet the median only reaches 1.02x. A 5 R$ item that now sits at 6 R$ counts as a gain and pays you nothing. Cheap drops go up often and go up a little.

What do a winning drop and a losing drop look like? Five real examples

These are ordered by what the creator charged at launch. Every figure is from our catalog as of September 17, 2026.

Item Launch price Copies RAP now Lowest ask Price vs launch
Metallica x Piggy Electric Guitar 140 R$ 5,000 2,459 R$ 1,500 R$ 17.6x
Headless Horseman's Mori Valkyrie 250 R$ 3,000 2,841 R$ 399 R$ 11.4x
Death Hellfire Outback Hat 1,000 R$ 150 31,775 R$ 29,999 R$ 31.8x
Kawaii Pusheen Valk 1,999 R$ 3,000 798 R$ 1,800 R$ 0.4x
Nyan Cat Valk 17,500 R$ 3,000 425 R$ 475 R$ 0.02x

The 140 R$ guitar that became a 2,459 R$ Limited

Metallica x Piggy Electric Guitar

MiniToon's Metallica x Piggy Electric Guitar was created on Roblox in April 2023 and sold at 140 R$ with a run of 5,000 copies, all of them claimed. Its RAP now sits at 2,459 R$ with the cheapest listing at 1,500 R$. A launch buyer who paid 140 and sells at that floor collects 750 after Roblox's cut, more than five times what they put in.

The reasons are ordinary. It was cheap enough for 5,000 copies to clear, it carried a crossover name players recognized, and anyone who wanted one after the sale closed had nowhere else to buy it.

The 17,500 R$ valk that ended at 425 R$

Nyan Cat Valk

The Nyan Cat Valk was created on Roblox in December 2024 and priced at 17,500 R$ with a run of 3,000 copies. Its RAP today is 425 R$ and the cheapest listing is 475 R$. Someone who bought at launch and sells at that floor takes home about 238 R$.

The price sat too high against the supply. A 3,000-copy run only works if 3,000 players want the item at 17,500 R$, and once the original sale closed, the players who did want one could pick up a resale copy from an owner in a hurry to get out. The Kawaii Pusheen Valk did the same thing at 1,999 R$ and sits at 0.4x today.

More than 3,400 UGC Limiteds in our catalog carry "valk" in the name, which is its own warning. When a hundred creators all release a version of the same silhouette, none of them is scarce. The classic Valkyrie Helm's history shows what real scarcity in that shape looks like.

How do you check a UGC creator before their next drop?

Start with the creator's own page, the way the names in the table above link out. It lists every Limited they have released with its RAP, copies and current floor. Scroll that list and ask two things: how many of their paid drops sit above their launch price, and how many sit above 2x.

The creators leaderboard ranks creators by catalog value, items released, copies and growth, so you can see who has been shipping recently and who has gone quiet. The reseller terminal tracks live listings and ladder positions if you want to follow a drop while it sells through.

For drops still open, UGC Limiteds in stock shows what is buyable right now, and sold-out UGC Limiteds shows what resale-only life looks like after the stock is gone. The Deals feed surfaces Limiteds listed below RAP, which is where the cheaper entries usually appear. Deals needs a signed-in account; the leaderboards and collections are public.

Our guide to which UGC Limiteds to buy for reselling goes deeper on drop timing, and marketplace fees explained walks the fee math for both classic and UGC resales.

What the numbers can't tell you

Every figure here comes with a bias worth naming. An item only gets a RAP after someone resells it, so the 35,243 drops in this analysis are the ones that found a buyer at all. The thousands of paid Limiteds that never recorded a single resale are missing from the percentages, which makes the market look kinder than it is. We also exclude the 131 items that launched above 100,000 R$, which are price-troll listings nobody was meant to buy.

RAP on a UGC Limited is also thin. Some items carry a RAP built from two or three sales, and a single friendly sale between two accounts can move it a long way. That is why a handful of UGC items show RAPs of exactly 1,000,000 or 777,777 R$. Treat any RAP without steady sales behind it as a rough guess.

A creator's record is history. It tells you they have priced drops sensibly and built an audience, and it says nothing about whether their next release is worth 400 R$. Supply, price and timing decide that, and eight of the nine creators in the table above have drops sitting below their launch price today.

None of this is financial advice. Robux spent on Limiteds can be lost, prices move for reasons nobody sees coming, and you should only spend what you would be fine losing.

FAQ

What does it mean for a Roblox UGC Limited to hold value?

It means the item's RAP has reached roughly twice its launch price. A reseller keeps 50% of a UGC Limited's resale price under Roblox's marketplace documentation, so a copy has to double before the buyer gets their Robux back. Across 35,243 paid UGC Limiteds with a recorded resale, 37.0% have reached 2x.

How much of a UGC Limited resale do you actually keep?

You keep 50%. Roblox's marketplace fees page splits a community-created Limited resale as 50% to the reseller, 10% to the original creator, 10% to the seller or affiliate, and 30% to Roblox. On a 1,000 R$ sale you receive 500 R$.

Which Roblox UGC creators have the best track record?

Among creators with at least 40 paid drops that recorded a resale, HulaHoopman6 leads at 86% reaching 2x, followed by marinusss and AlexAstral Studios at 85% and Artsshoria at 84%. Only 82 creators out of 22,693 in our catalog have published enough paid drops to judge this way.

Do cheap UGC Limiteds hold value better than expensive ones?

Yes, up to a point. Drops launched at 100 to 249 R$ reach 2x half the time, while drops launched above 5,000 R$ reach it 6% of the time. Drops under 100 R$ almost always rise, but the median one only reaches 1.02x, so the gain is too small to collect.

Can you trade UGC Limiteds instead of reselling them?

No. Roblox's marketplace documentation states that only Roblox-created Limiteds are tradeable, so a UGC Limited changes hands through a Marketplace resale and never through a trade offer. Classic Limiteds made by Roblox are the tradeable ones.

How long after buying a UGC Limited can you resell it?

Up to 30 days if you bought it from the creator during the original sale, and up to 7 days if you bought a resale copy from another player. Roblox's documentation describes this as a holding period during which the item cannot be resold.

Do you need a subscription to resell a UGC Limited?

Yes, the seller needs an active Roblox Plus subscription, which costs $4.99 USD per month. The buyer of a resale copy needs nothing. Roblox's documentation also notes that reselling community-created Limiteds is unavailable to accounts based in Japan.

Does a good creator record mean their next drop will go up?

No. A strong record shows a creator has priced drops sensibly and built demand, which improves the odds, and it guarantees nothing. Every creator listed in this article has released items that never cleared their launch price, and supply and price at launch matter more than the name attached.
