Roblox has made a surprising number of chicken hats, and five of them are Limiteds you can still buy today. A Limited is an item with a fixed supply that only changes hands through resale or trade. The most valuable one is Telamon's Chicken Suit, a 2010 hood that carries a RAP of 502,397 R$ across 2,645 copies, with the cheapest listing sitting at 499,998 R$ in RBX Invest catalog data on September 23, 2026. RAP stands for Recent Average Price, a smoothed average of an item's sale history. The rest of the family runs from a 90,606 R$ Limited U down to a chicken you can own for about 2,550 R$.
Quick answer: Telamon's Chicken Suit is the most valuable Roblox chicken Limited, with 2,645 copies and a RAP near 502,000 R$. Four more chicken Limiteds exist: Eagle Warrior and three items from the 2014 Chicken of the Month (CotM) run.
| At a glance | Detail |

Which Roblox chicken items are Limiteds? Five, and only one is expensive
Copies means how many exist in total. Lowest ask is the cheapest price a reseller currently wants. Both figures come from RBX Invest catalog data as of September 23, 2026.
| Item | RAP | Copies | Lowest ask |
|---|---|---|---|
| 502,397 R$ | 2,645 | 499,998 R$ | |
| 90,606 R$ | 471 | 150,000 R$ | |
| 27,803 R$ | 495 | 55,000 R$ | |
| 3,505 R$ | 10,537 | 3,895 R$ | |
| 2,618 R$ | 4,489 | 2,550 R$ |
Trader consensus on street value, meaning what buyers actually pay when a copy surfaces, puts the same five in the same order. The Chicken Suit is the one item where consensus sits a little above its RAP, which is normal for a thin market where sales are rare. You can see how these rank against every other classic hat on the classic hats collection and the items leaderboard.
Where did Telamon's Chicken Suit come from? A 2010 mystery box
The Chicken Suit was never sold. According to the Roblox Wiki's page on Telamon's Mystery Box, the box went up for free on March 1, 2010 and went Limited within minutes. Anyone holding it at a set moment on March 19, 2010 was handed the Chicken Suit at no cost. The box paid out several other items on other dates, including LOLWUT and the Blue Banded Top Hat.
So the supply was set by who owned a free hat on one afternoon in 2010. That is why 2,645 copies exist and why no more will ever be made. The box itself is still a Limited with 2,631 copies and a RAP of 8,136 R$, though the cheapest listing on it is a joke price of 1,333,337 R$, which is a decent sign that nobody who owns one wants to part with it.
Telamon is an old account name of John Shedletsky, an early Roblox employee, and his name is stamped on a whole shelf of odd items from that era. Our guide to admin and staff-named Roblox items covers the wider group.
Why is Telamon's Chicken Suit worth so much?
Three things hold the price up.
Supply is small and frozen. 2,645 copies across a player base of hundreds of millions is nothing, and the giveaway that created them happened once.
It makes noise. Wear it in an experience and it clucks, playing one of a few sounds every several seconds that nearby players can hear too. Very few accessories do anything at all, which is why it shows up in our list of Roblox items that make sound.
People love it. The item has been favorited 42,638 times, which is enormous for something almost nobody can own. Favorites do not set prices, but heavy favoriting on a tiny supply tells you demand is real when copies do come up.
The gap between RAP and the lowest ask is tiny right now, 502,397 R$ against 499,998 R$. On most thin items the ask sits well above RAP because sellers hold out. Here the two have converged, which usually means a sale is close.
Eagle Warrior: the chicken suit with a different paint job
Released April 9, 2010, the Eagle Warrior is an Aztec-styled eagle headpiece built on the same base mesh as the Chicken Suit, according to the Roblox Wiki. It sold for 150 R$ with a stock of 500, making it a Limited U, the old name for an item Roblox sold once in a capped batch.
Today 471 copies remain in circulation, the RAP is 90,606 R$, and the cheapest listing is 150,000 R$. That ask is roughly 1.65 times RAP, a spread you see on items where the few sellers left are in no rush. If you want one, watch it over a few weeks before you commit.
What was Chicken of the Month on Roblox? A 2014 monthly hat run
Through 2014, Roblox released one chicken hood a month under the CotM tag, each a retexture of Telamon's Other Chicken Suit. The Roblox Wiki credits most of them to individual community members who made the textures, which is worth noticing: this was community-made catalog content nine years before UGC Limiteds arrived.
The pricing was a running joke. January cost 100 R$, February 200 R$, and every month added another hundred until December landed at 1,200 R$.
| Month | Item | Sale price | Status now |
|---|---|---|---|
| January | 100 R$ | Limited | |
| February | CotM: February Love Bird | 200 R$ | Offsale |
| March | 300 R$ | Limited | |
| April | CotM: April Faberge Chicken | 400 R$ | Offsale |
| May | CotM: May Homemade Maker Chicken | 500 R$ | Offsale |
| June | CotM: June World Cluck 2014 | 600 R$ | Offsale |
| July | CotM: July Independent Chicken | 700 R$ | Offsale |
| August | CotM: August Chicken of the Sea | 800 R$ | Offsale |
| September | CotM: September Knit Chicken | 900 R$ | Offsale |
| October | CotM: October Pumpkin Spice Chicken | 1,000 R$ | Offsale |
| November | 1,100 R$ | Offsale, then Limited | |
| December | CotM: December Gingerbread Chicken | 1,200 R$ | Offsale |
A thirteenth item, CotM: Octember Encore, arrived in 2017 through a code packed with a Roblox toy.
Most of the run was sold on a one-day or few-day timer, so the copy counts are small even where the item never became a Limited. Offsale means the item is gone from the catalog: you cannot buy it from Roblox, and if it is not a Limited you cannot buy it from another player either. Those chickens are locked in the inventories of whoever bought them in 2014.
Which CotM chickens can you actually buy?
Three of them. Camo Chicken went Limited on February 18, 2014, during that year's Presidents' Day sale according to the Roblox Wiki, which is why its supply is by far the biggest at 10,537 copies. Chicken Pot Pi followed on March 14, 2016, exactly two years after its release, and Football Fowl on November 24, 2016.
Football Fowl is the interesting one. Only 495 copies exist, it sold for 1,100 R$ in 2014, and its cheapest listing today is 55,000 R$ against a RAP of 27,803 R$. That is almost double RAP. Float, meaning the number of copies actually available to buy at any moment, is tiny here, so one stubborn seller sets the visible price. The ask there tells you what one seller wants on a day when nobody else is selling.
Camo Chicken and Pot Pi have thousands of copies each, prices in the low thousands of Robux, and listings close to RAP. If you want a piece of this family without spending six figures, those two are it. More cheap classics sit in our Limiteds under 10,000 R$ collection.
Which chicken hoods never became Limiteds?
The family is bigger than its Limiteds. These are regular catalog items or old offsale releases, so they carry no RAP and no resale market. They matter because they explain the mesh everything else is built on: the 2013 Other Chicken Suit is the shape the entire CotM run was painted onto.
| Item | Released | Original price |
|---|---|---|
| July 2013 | 500 R$ | |
| December 2013 | 250 R$ | |
| October 2016 | 500 R$ | |
| April 2018 | 300 R$ | |
| Telamon's 8-bit Chicken Suit | November 2016 | Not obtainable |
| Telamon's Santa Chicken Suit | December 2016 | 500 R$, one-day sale |
| Chicken Sim 360VR | June 2018 | Toy code |
Sparkle Time Chicken, a 2015 Limited with 836 copies and a RAP of 18,526 R$, gets grouped with the chickens by plenty of traders, though it belongs to the Sparkle Time family.
Are the new CotM chickens made by Roblox? No, and that changes what they are
The CotM name came back after UGC Limiteds launched in April 2023. UGC Limiteds are community-made items with capped supply, sold by their creator. Several community groups now publish chicken hats under the CotM prefix, and none of them are Roblox releases: every one is listed under a community creator in our catalog data.
| Item | Released | Copies | RAP | Lowest ask |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| April 2025 | 15 | 880 R$ | 10,000 R$ | |
| January 2026 | 20 | 814 R$ | 9,998 R$ | |
| December 2025 | 10 | 773 R$ | 2,500 R$ |
Ten to twenty copies sounds rarer than a classic Limited, and on paper it is. The catch is that a market that thin can go weeks without a sale, so the RAP barely moves and the asks are whatever one owner decided to type. Asks ten times above RAP, like the two above, are common in that situation.
There are practical differences too. UGC Limiteds cannot be traded at all, since Roblox's trade system covers classic Limiteds only, so resale is the only exit. Buying one at launch from the creator locks it for up to 30 days before you can resell, and buying one on the resale market locks it for up to 7 days. Borrowed names are also a known trick in the UGC catalog, which we cover in our guide to fake Limiteds and name squatting.
What should you watch if you collect chicken Limiteds?
Start with the spread between RAP and the lowest ask. Camo Chicken and Pot Pi trade close to RAP, so what you see is roughly what the item is worth. Football Fowl and Eagle Warrior sit far above RAP because only a couple of people are selling, and paying that ask means paying for impatience.
Know what selling costs before you buy. Reselling a classic Limited carries a 30% marketplace fee, so you keep 70% of the sale price. A 10,000 R$ sale puts 7,000 R$ in your account, which means an item has to rise about 1.43 times what you paid before you break even. Selling also requires an active Roblox Plus subscription on your account, as does trading, and trading needs it on both sides.
Holding periods matter for timing. Buy a classic Limited from a reseller and you cannot resell it for 7 days. Receive one in a trade and it is locked for 2 days. Neither is long, but both rule out flipping something the same afternoon you bought it.
Watch the cheap end for entries. Chicken Pot Pi under 3,000 R$ is the lowest-risk way into a family whose headline item costs half a million Robux, and below-RAP listings across the catalog show up in the Deals feed, which needs a signed-in account. None of this is financial advice, and Limited prices can fall as easily as they rise.

FAQ
What is Telamon's Chicken Suit worth on Roblox?
Telamon's Chicken Suit has a RAP of 502,397 R$ and a cheapest listing of 499,998 R$ in RBX Invest catalog data on September 23, 2026. It is the most valuable chicken item on Roblox by a wide margin, with the next one down sitting near 90,000 R$.
How many copies of Telamon's Chicken Suit exist?
2,645 copies exist, and the number is fixed. They were all created on March 19, 2010, when Roblox handed the hood to everyone who owned Telamon's Mystery Box at a set moment, and Roblox has never put it on sale since.
How did people get Telamon's Chicken Suit?
By owning Telamon's Mystery Box on March 19, 2010. The box was released free on March 1, 2010, went Limited within minutes, and later paid out several free items to whoever held it on specific dates. The Chicken Suit was one of those payouts.
What does CotM mean on Roblox?
CotM stands for Chicken of the Month, a Roblox series that released one chicken hood every month through 2014. Each was a retexture of Telamon's Other Chicken Suit, and the price climbed by 100 R$ each month, from 100 R$ in January to 1,200 R$ in December.
Which Chicken of the Month items are Limited?
Three: CotM: January Camo Chicken, CotM: March Chicken Pot Pi and CotM: November Football Fowl. Camo Chicken became Limited in February 2014, Pot Pi in March 2016 and Football Fowl in November 2016. The other nine went offsale and cannot be bought or traded.
What is the cheapest chicken Limited on Roblox?
CotM: March Chicken Pot Pi, listed at 2,550 R$ with a RAP of 2,618 R$ on September 23, 2026. CotM: January Camo Chicken is close behind at 3,895 R$, and its 10,537 copies make it the easiest one to find on sale.
Are the new CotM chickens made by Roblox?
No. The chicken items published under the CotM name since 2024 are UGC Limiteds published by community groups. They have very small copy counts, often 10 to 20, and because they trade rarely their asking prices can sit many times above their RAP.
Does Telamon's Chicken Suit make sound?
Yes. Worn in an experience, it plays one of several cluck sounds every few seconds, and nearby players with sound on can hear it. Only a handful of Roblox accessories do anything audible, which is part of why the item stayed famous.
