Roblox Shoulder Pet Limiteds: What They're Worth

Roblox shoulder pet Limiteds mostly trade under 1,000 R$: 3,562 of 3,909 do. The St Patrick's Day Fairy leads the slot at a 327,438 RAP.

Shoulder accessories are the items that sit on your avatar's shoulder: pets, pauldrons, bags and props. Thousands of them are Limiteds, meaning items made in a fixed number of copies that players resell to each other for Robux. Most are cheap. Of the 3,909 shoulder accessories in our catalog with a recorded RAP (Recent Average Price, the smoothed average of an item's past sale prices), the middle one sits at 105 R$, and 3,562 of them trade under 1,000 R$. The expensive end is tiny: five items reach a RAP of 100,000 R$ or more, and the most valuable one with a real market behind it is the St Patrick's Day Fairy at 327,438 R$ across 1,864 copies.

Quick answer: Most Roblox shoulder pet Limiteds are worth under 1,000 R$, with a median RAP of 105 R$. The St Patrick's Day Fairy leads the slot at a 327,438 R$ RAP, and only five shoulder items anywhere reach 100,000 R$.

What is a shoulder accessory on Roblox? It's avatar asset type 44

A shoulder accessory is one of the rigid accessory slots Roblox gives every avatar. Roblox's engine documentation lists ShoulderAccessory as avatar asset type 44, sitting between NeckAccessory (43) and FrontAccessory (45), BackAccessory (46) and WaistAccessory (47). Anything published into that slot clips onto the shoulder, which is why the category holds such a strange mix: shoulder pets like frogs and owls, armor pauldrons (the shoulder plates on a suit of armor), handbags, and a few outright jokes.

Four terms show up constantly below. A Limited is an item made in a fixed quantity that players resell to each other. RAP is the Recent Average Price, Roblox's smoothed average of what an item's past copies sold for. Copies is the total number that exist, which never grows once the item sells out. A lowest ask is the cheapest copy anyone currently has listed.

Shoulder items split into two worlds. Roblox made 178 of them, and only 54 of those have ever recorded a sale price. Everything else is community made, published since UGC Limiteds (community-created Limiteds) arrived in April 2023.

Which Roblox shoulder Limited is worth the most? The St Patrick's Day Fairy at 327,438 RAP

St Patrick's Day Fairy

Roblox published St Patrick's Day Fairy on March 13, 2015 at 300 Robux. It is a tiny green fairy that perches on your shoulder, and it is the only Roblox-made shoulder item that ever reached the six-figure tier. Today its RAP is 327,438 R$ across 1,864 copies, with the cheapest copy listed at 390,000 R$. Someone who bought one at release and still holds it is sitting on roughly a thousand times what they paid.

Trader consensus on street value, meaning what buyers actually pay today, puts the Fairy a touch above its RAP. That matches the live floor: the cheapest listed copy asks more than the RAP, which is the normal shape for an item people want and few people sell.

Every classic shoulder Limited worth over 10,000 Robux

Twelve Roblox-made shoulder items clear 10,000 R$ RAP. Ordered by RAP, with copies and the cheapest copy listed as of October 1, 2026:

Item Released Sold for Copies RAP Lowest ask
St Patrick's Day Fairy Mar 2015 300 R$ 1,864 327,438 R$ 390,000 R$
Ceremonial Guard of the Archduke of the Federation Dec 2015 5,000 R$ 250 41,796 R$ 64,500 R$
Ceremonial Guard of the Duke of the Federation Sep 2015 5,000 R$ 250 35,534 R$ 230,000 R$
The Raven Jan 2010 40 R$ 2,034 26,056 R$ 25,000 R$
Korblox Shoulder Pauldrons Aug 2015 1,000 R$ 798 24,310 R$ 20,500 R$
Halloween Headrow 2011 Oct 2011 650 R$ 987 23,342 R$ 27,500 R$
Bewitching Amphibian Oct 2013 Not recorded 690 18,680 R$ 45,000 R$
Overseer Armor Pauldrons Feb 2016 1,000 R$ 592 15,960 R$ 16,000 R$
Something Dark Within Aug 2011 500 R$ 889 14,793 R$ 10,100 R$
Spider Shoulder Friend Oct 2011 100 R$ 888 14,157 R$ 10,997 R$
Lightning Cobalt Pauldrons Apr 2016 2,000 R$ 500 11,093 R$ 13,499 R$
Macaw Shoulder Friend Jul 2013 150 R$ 1,500 10,640 R$ 8,000 R$

Six of those twelve are Limited U items, which means every copy carries its own serial number stamped at purchase: the two Ceremonial Guards, Halloween Headrow 2011, Something Dark Within, Lightning Cobalt Pauldrons and Macaw Shoulder Friend. All twelve are off sale, meaning Roblox no longer sells them itself, so those copy counts will not grow.

The Duke's Ceremonial Guard shows what a thin market does to prices. Its RAP is 35,534 R$, and the cheapest copy anyone will part with asks 230,000 R$, over six times that. With 250 copies in existence and almost nobody selling, RAP is still echoing old trades while the people holding today have priced much higher. The Archduke version, released three months later at the same 5,000 R$, has a calmer gap. Both belong to the Federation line, covered in full in our Federation series history.

The rest of the table reads like a tour of Roblox's old event calendar. The Raven went out in January 2010 at 40 Robux, and its item description still says it launched on Edgar Allan Poe's two hundred and first birthday. Spider Shoulder Friend and Halloween Headrow 2011 both arrived in October 2011, a week apart. Bewitching Amphibian is a shoulder frog from October 2013. The Korblox and Overseer pauldrons come from Roblox's two big armor lines, detailed in our Korblox series history and Overseer series history, and the Headrow entry belongs to a family with its own long story in our Headrow series history.

Why are most shoulder Limiteds so cheap? Supply plus a 50% resale cut

Two forces hold the slot down.

The first is supply. Of the 3,909 shoulder items with a RAP, 3,855 are community made. UGC creators have published thousands of shoulder pets since 2023, and shoulder pets are easy to model and easy to copy. A buyer who wants a little animal on their shoulder has hundreds of near-identical options at 50 R$, so none of them gets scarce enough to climb.

The second is the fee. On a resale of a community-created Limited, Roblox's marketplace documentation sets the split at 50% to the reseller, 10% to the original creator, 10% to the seller or affiliate, and 30% to Roblox. You keep half of whatever the item sells for. Buy a shoulder pet at 200 R$ and you need it to resell at 400 R$ just to get your 200 back. Sell it at 500 R$ and you walk away with 250 R$, a 50 R$ gain on a 200 R$ bet. Classic Roblox-made Limiteds are gentler: a resale pays the seller 70% of the price, so a 10,000 R$ buy needs about 14,300 R$ to break even.

On a 105 R$ median item, that math is brutal. Half of the shoulder market cannot cover its own fee on any realistic price move. If you want to shop the cheap end anyway, our cheapest Limiteds collection ranks everything currently listed under 100 Robux, and the Deals feed flags copies listed below RAP once you are signed in.

Do the priciest UGC shoulder Limiteds have real markets? Mostly no

Banana

The top RAP in the entire shoulder slot belongs to a one-copy novelty item at 1,042,069 R$. Treat numbers like that carefully. Among shoulder items with a RAP, 75 have exactly one copy in existence, which means the RAP comes from a single sale with nothing to check it against. One trade between two people who agreed on a price sets the figure, and it stays there until somebody sells again, which on a one-copy item may be never. Our write-up on the rarest UGC Limiteds goes through this trap in detail, and the rarest Limiteds collection ranks every item with ten copies or fewer.

The community-made shoulder items with genuine markets behind them look like this:

Item Released Copies RAP Lowest ask
Banana Apr 2023 99 272,770 R$ 300,000 R$
Mecha Obsidian Armor May 2023 200 11,457 R$ 50,000 R$
GUCCI GG MARMONT HALF-MOON-SHAPED MINI BAG Dec 2023 50 11,043 R$ 19,999 R$
Gauntlet Of A Perfect Puppeteer May 2026 100 9,569 R$ 29,000 R$
Cosmic Mochi Bunny Jun 2023 50 7,994 R$ 59,999 R$

Banana is the standout, and its date explains most of it. The asset was created on April 5, 2023, the day Roblox announced UGC Limiteds, so it is one of the very first community Limiteds ever published. Ninety-nine copies, a 272,770 R$ RAP, and a 300,000 R$ floor. Three of the other four came out within months of the same launch window. An early release date plus a small number of copies is doing the work here, the same pattern you see at the top of the items leaderboard.

Notice how far above RAP those asks sit. Every item in that table asks above its RAP, and three of them ask at least three times it. On markets with 50 to 200 copies and a sale every few months, the handful of people willing to sell set a price far above the last recorded trade, and a buyer either pays it or waits.

How should you buy a shoulder Limited? Check copies, the floor, and your hold

Four checks before you spend anything.

Count the copies, then count the listings. A 1,000-copy item with 40 copies for sale behaves very differently from a 100-copy item with two. Thin supply is what lets a price run, and it is also what traps you when you want out.

Compare the floor to the RAP. A floor far above RAP means sellers are holding firm and RAP is stale. A floor well below RAP usually means somebody wants out fast. The reseller tracking tools show where your own listing sits in the queue for every item you hold.

Know your hold before you buy. Buying a community-created Limited at launch locks it for up to 30 days before you can resell it. Buying one on the resale market locks it for up to 7 days. Classic Roblox-made Limiteds hold for 7 days after a resale purchase and 2 days after a trade. Prices move inside those windows and you cannot do anything about it.

Check how the item can change hands. Community-created Limiteds move only through Marketplace resales. Classic Limiteds can also be traded player to player, and both accounts need an active Roblox Plus subscription for a trade to go through. Selling any Limited needs Roblox Plus on the seller's account, though anyone can buy one.

Shoulder accessories are a small, quiet corner of the market. The classic twelve above are genuine collectibles with fixed supply and decades of history behind them, and they are priced accordingly. Almost everything else in the slot is a 100 R$ pet that will still be a 100 R$ pet next year. If you are browsing by category, the collections hub sorts Limiteds by family, price band and rarity, and the most expensive Limiteds page shows where the serious money actually sits on Roblox.

This is market commentary for collectors, not financial advice. Robux and Limiteds are virtual items, and prices can fall as easily as they rise.

Item names, release dates, original prices and Limited status in this article come from Roblox's own asset data; copies, RAP and lowest asking prices come from the RBX Invest catalog as of October 1, 2026; the resale splits come from Roblox's marketplace documentation.

FAQ

What is a shoulder accessory on Roblox?

A shoulder accessory is an avatar item that attaches to your character's shoulder. Roblox's engine documentation defines it as avatar asset type 44, alongside neck (43), front (45), back (46) and waist (47) accessories. The category holds shoulder pets, armor pauldrons, bags and props.

What is the most valuable Roblox shoulder Limited?

The St Patrick's Day Fairy, with a RAP of 327,438 R$ as of October 1, 2026 and 1,864 copies in existence. Roblox released it on March 13, 2015 at 300 Robux, and the cheapest copy currently listed asks 390,000 R$. One community-made one-copy item carries a higher RAP, but a single recorded sale stands behind it.

How much are most Roblox shoulder pets worth?

Very little. The median RAP among the 3,909 shoulder accessories with a recorded sale price is 105 R$, and 3,562 of them sit under 1,000 R$. Only 69 reach 10,000 R$ and only five reach 100,000 R$.

Can you trade Roblox shoulder Limiteds?

Only the Roblox-made ones. Classic Limiteds can be traded player to player, and both accounts need an active Roblox Plus subscription. Community-created UGC Limiteds cannot be traded at all; the only way to move one is a Marketplace resale.

How much do you keep when you resell a shoulder Limited?

Half, if the item was made by a community creator. Roblox's marketplace documentation sets the resale split at 50% to the reseller, 10% to the original creator, 10% to the seller or affiliate and 30% to Roblox, so break-even is twice what you paid. A classic Roblox-made Limited pays the seller 70%, so break-even is about 1.43 times your cost.

Why do shoulder Limiteds ask so much more than their RAP?

Because RAP lags thin markets. RAP smooths past sale prices, so on an item that sells once or twice a year it keeps reporting prices from long-gone trades while current holders price for today. The Ceremonial Guard of the Duke of the Federation shows it starkly: a 35,534 R$ RAP against a 230,000 R$ lowest ask.

Does Roblox still make classic shoulder Limiteds?

Not in the way it once did. Roblox made 178 of the shoulder accessories in our catalog, but the twelve worth over 10,000 R$ all date from 2016 or earlier, and the newest of them is the Lightning Cobalt Pauldrons from April 2016. New shoulder Limiteds now come almost entirely from community creators.

How long before I can resell a shoulder Limited I just bought?

Up to 30 days if you bought a community-created Limited at launch from the creator, and up to 7 days if you bought one on the resale market. A classic Roblox-made Limited holds for 7 days after a resale purchase and 2 days after a trade.
