Roblox Clothing Limiteds: Which Slots Hold Value

Roblox clothing Limiteds hold value better than hats: median RAP is 277 R$ across 3,486 items, against 103 R$ for UGC Limiteds overall.

Roblox clothing Limiteds hold their value better than any other community-made slot on the Marketplace. RBX Invest tracks 3,486 UGC Limited clothing items across the jacket, shirt, sweater, t-shirt, pants, shorts and dress/skirt slots, and the middle one carries a RAP of 277 Robux, against 103 Robux for all 182,534 UGC Limiteds in our catalog. A Limited is a Roblox item with a fixed number of copies that owners are allowed to resell, a UGC Limited is one published by a community creator, and RAP (Recent Average Price) is Roblox's smoothed average of everything an item has ever sold for. The reason clothing sits so far ahead is supply: 1,021 new clothing Limiteds appeared in the past 12 months, while creators published 21,057 new Limited hats over the same stretch.

Quick answer: Clothing is the strongest UGC Limited slot by median RAP at 277 R$, led by pants at 367 R$ and jackets at 300 R$, because very few get made. The most valuable clothing Limited on Roblox is one of Roblox's own, the Carolina Herrera Floral Dress - Klossette, sitting at 92,184 R$ RAP with a 175,067 R$ cheapest copy.

Slot Limiteds tracked New in last 12 months Median copies Median RAP

Hat 65,423 21,057 25 120 R$

Six of the seven clothing slots beat every accessory slot on median RAP. Shorts, with 39 Limiteds in the whole catalog, sit just under back accessories.

What counts as a Roblox clothing Limited? Seven 3D slots

The clothing Limiteds traders care about are the 3D layered kind, the ones that wrap around your avatar body. Roblox's marketplace documentation lists them as separate asset types with their own publishing rules: jacket, t-shirt, shirt, sweater, pants, dress/skirt and shorts. Those seven are the slots in the table above.

Two quirks are worth knowing before you shop. First, creators sometimes hang a prop off a clothing slot, because the slot is spare room on the avatar. Two of the highest-RAP t-shirt-slot Limiteds in our catalog are a wristwatch and a pair of fan blades. Second, the classic flat shirts, t-shirts and pants sit in a different lane; Roblox's publishing table gives them a 10 Robux advance and no paid Limited option at all. If you want that side of the story, we covered the 2026 payout cut on 2D clothing separately.

You can browse the live market for each of the big four slots on RBX Invest: Limited jackets, Limited shirts, Limited pants and Limited dresses, all ranked by current data.

Why do clothing Limiteds have higher RAP than hats? Supply is 20 times thinner

Clothing is 1.9% of the UGC Limited catalog. In the last 12 months, creators published 413 Limited jackets and 157 Limited pants, against 21,057 Limited hats and 9,249 Limited back accessories. A buyer who wants a layered outfit has a few hundred options a year. A buyer who wants a hat has tens of thousands, and that crowd of near-identical items pushes hat prices down.

The odd part is that clothing is the cheapest paid Limited to publish. Roblox's fee documentation sets the paid Limited publishing advance at 5,000 Robux for jackets, shirts, sweaters, t-shirts, pants, dresses and shorts, against 13,000 for a hat or face and 15,000 for neck, back, shoulder, front and waist accessories. Cheaper door, far fewer items walking through it. Modelling a garment that stretches over every body type is real work, and most creators go where the audience already is. Our full breakdown of UGC Limited publishing costs has the rest of that table.

Thin supply comes with a catch. Clothing prints run much larger, a print being how many copies an item was made in: the median Limited pants item has 225 copies and the median sweater 250, while the median Limited hat has 25. More copies means more owners able to undercut each other on the resale market. Clothing is scarce by design count and common by copy count, and both halves of that show up in the prices.

Which clothing slot leads on value? Pants on the median, jackets at the top

Pants take the highest median, but the biggest individual prices live in the jacket slot. Here is the highest-RAP Limited in each of the seven slots, counting items with at least 50 copies and a live resale market, alongside the cheapest copy listed today. That cheapest listing is the lowest ask, the least you can pay for the item right now. A handful of one and two copy novelty items post higher RAPs off a single sale, which is why the cutoff is there.

Item Slot Copies RAP Lowest ask Launch price
Armor of Valor Jacket 100 21,044 R$ 25,000 R$ 250 R$
White & Gold Goddess Halter Crop Top & Scarf Shirt 500 10,331 R$ 14,999 R$ 500 R$
Legs of Valor Pants 100 8,567 R$ 3,700 R$ 250 R$
NIZE Drowned Watch T-shirt 315 7,772 R$ 100,000 R$ Free
Ruched One-Sleeve Mermaid Gown - Rainbow Shimmer Dress 100 7,555 R$ 7,999 R$ 750 R$
Blue Flame Punches Ace Sweater 60 7,304 R$ 7,300 R$ 300 R$
adidas Black and Gold Limited Fortore Shorts Shorts 400 1,958 R$ 7,900 R$ 100 R$

Look at the gap between RAP and the lowest ask on that t-shirt-slot watch. RAP says 7,772 and the cheapest seller wants 100,000. An item priced far above what it actually sells for is projected, meaning somebody is asking a number nobody has paid; our guide to projected items explains how sellers do it and why the ask can sit there for months. The adidas shorts and the Goddess crop top show smaller versions of the same gap. Legs of Valor runs the other way, with a 3,700 ask under an 8,567 RAP, which is the shape of a real chance to buy under the recent trend.

What is the most valuable Roblox clothing Limited? A 2022 Carolina Herrera dress

Carolina Herrera Floral Dress - Klossette

Roblox published the Klossette dress itself on September 12, 2022 as part of a fashion collaboration, 432 copies at 500 Robux each. It now carries a RAP of 92,184 Robux with the cheapest copy asking 175,067, roughly four times the strongest community-made clothing Limited.

This corner of the market exists because of timing. Roblox announced 3D layered clothing on the developer forum on October 20, 2021 and finished the rollout with the full six-layer release on April 4, 2022. For the next year the only clothing Limiteds were Roblox's own brand collaborations. Community creators could not publish a Limited at all until the UGC Limited program went live on April 6, 2023, and our catalog records clothing items from day one of it, including the Golden Borzoi Suit and the Mermaid Gown above.

RBX Invest tracks six Roblox-published 3D clothing Limiteds and one pair of shoes. Five of the six carry a live resale price right now:

Item Slot Copies RAP Lowest ask Released
Carolina Herrera Floral Dress - Klossette Dress 432 92,184 R$ 175,067 R$ Sept 12, 2022
Vans x Stranger Things Hellfire Club Jean Jacket Jacket 2,332 3,111 R$ 3,200 R$ Oct 28, 2022
Mariah's Red Dress - Mariah Carey Dress 4,324 1,365 R$ 1,100 R$ Dec 14, 2022
2 Baddies Gem Stone Jacket - NCT 127 Jacket 3,819 985 R$ 995 R$ Jan 26, 2023
NARS Light Reflecting Leather Moto Jacket Jacket 13,991 351 R$ 400 R$ Aug 9, 2022

Copy count did most of the work here. The dress printed 432 and trades in five figures; the moto jacket printed 13,991 and trades for 400. More on that pattern in our piece on brand collaboration Limiteds.

What do you keep when you resell a clothing Limited? Half the sale price

Armor of Valor

Roblox's marketplace fee documentation splits a community-made Limited resale four ways: 50% to the reseller, 10% to the original creator, 10% to the seller or affiliate, and 30% to Roblox. So a clothing Limited resold at 25,000 Robux, the current cheapest Armor of Valor, pays its seller 12,500. Your break-even price is double what you paid, every time.

Run it on the real numbers. Armor of Valor launched at 250 Robux in July 2023. A buyer who got one then and sells at today's 25,000 ask nets 12,500 and keeps 12,250 of it as profit. A buyer who pays 25,000 today needs 50,000 later to get back to even.

Roblox-published Limiteds carry a 30% marketplace fee instead, so the seller keeps 70% and break-even lands around 1.43 times cost. That covers the Klossette dress and the rest of that table.

Three more rules shape the trade:

  • Roblox Plus. Reselling a Limited needs an active Roblox Plus subscription on the seller's account, at $4.99 per month. Buyers need nothing. Roblox's documentation also states that reselling community-created Limiteds is unavailable for accounts based in Japan.
  • Holding periods. After you buy a Limited you wait before you can list it. Roblox's docs put it at up to 30 days for a purchase from the creator, and a purchase on the resale market clears in up to 7. Our holding period guide has the detail.
  • Trading. The player-to-player trade window works on Roblox-published Limiteds, with Roblox Plus active on both accounts. Community-made clothing moves through Marketplace resales only, which is why a jacket with 100 copies can be slow to sell even when people want it.

None of this is financial advice. Robux you spend on a Limited can sit there for a long time, and plenty of clothing Limiteds never see a second sale.

Which creators make clothing Limiteds that hold value?

BrandNewVerse

A handful of names account for most of the clothing Limiteds worth real Robux. Counting only creators with 20 or more clothing Limiteds in our catalog:

  • BrandNewVerse has 138 clothing Limiteds, 36 of them at 1,000 R$ RAP or higher, median 563 R$.
  • LILY & LIFFY has 168, with 31 above 1,000 R$ and a median of 537 R$.
  • bigthinx has published 23 and 21 of them clear 1,000 R$, a median of 1,600 R$, the best hit rate in the slot.
  • Lovespun shows a similar shape: 22 items, 15 above 1,000 R$, median 1,579 R$.
  • BLUEBERRY has 55, 15 of them above 1,000 R$, including the BerryBox March '24 Black Bunny Ear Hood Jacket at 19,657 R$ RAP.

Small, careful catalogs beat large ones here. You can sort every creator by the market value of what they have published on the creators leaderboard.

What should you check before buying a clothing Limited? Stock, the ask-to-RAP gap, and age

Most clothing Limiteds are still cheap. Of the 3,486 we track, 538 reach 1,000 R$ RAP and only 52 reach 5,000 R$. Buying the slot blind does not work, so check four things:

  1. Is it still in stock? 563 clothing Limiteds have copies left with the creator. An item still selling at its launch price has an obvious ceiling on the resale market, since buyers take the cheaper source first. Our Deals feed flags copies listed under their recent trend, and it needs a signed-in account.
  2. How big is the print? 1,583 of the 3,486 have 100 copies or fewer. Every five-figure item in this article printed 500 copies or fewer.
  3. How far above RAP is the ask? A cheapest copy at 13 times RAP, like that t-shirt watch, tells you nobody is transacting there.
  4. How old is it? Fresh clothing drops are weaker than the slot's long-term average. Among clothing Limiteds published in the last 12 months, the median RAP is 355 R$ for jackets, 150 R$ for pants, 90 R$ for dresses, 61 R$ for sweaters, 60 R$ for shirts and 8 R$ for t-shirts. Jackets are holding up. The rest of the slot has cooled, and with 2,617 of the 3,486 having launched at 0 Robux, a large part of this catalog never had a launch price to hold in the first place.

For positions you already hold, the reseller tools track what you paid against the live list of cheapest copies, and the items leaderboard shows where the market is moving. If the mechanics are new to you, start with our UGC Limited reselling guide and what RAP actually measures, or browse all collections.

Prices, copy counts and catalog totals are RBX Invest catalog data as of September 25, 2026, with every lowest ask above confirmed the same day against Roblox's own item details endpoint; fee splits, publishing advances, holding periods and the clothing asset list come from Roblox's marketplace documentation, and the layered clothing dates come from Roblox developer forum announcements.

FAQ

Are Roblox clothing Limiteds worth buying?

Clothing Limiteds hold value better than any other UGC slot, with a median RAP of 277 Robux against 103 for UGC Limiteds overall, so the slot is worth watching. Individual items are a different question: only 538 of the 3,486 we track reach 1,000 Robux RAP, and prints of 100 copies or more are the norm, so pick individual items with small prints and real sale history.

What is the most valuable Roblox clothing Limited?

The Carolina Herrera Floral Dress - Klossette, published by Roblox on September 12, 2022 with 432 copies. It carries a RAP of 92,184 Robux and the cheapest copy is listed at 175,067 Robux. The strongest community-made one is Armor of Valor, a jacket with 100 copies at 21,044 Robux RAP and a 25,000 Robux ask.

Can you trade Roblox clothing Limiteds?

You can trade the Roblox-published ones, with an active Roblox Plus subscription on both accounts. Community-made clothing Limiteds change hands through Marketplace resales only, which means the seller needs Roblox Plus and the buyer pays in Robux.

How much do you keep when you resell a clothing Limited?

Half. Roblox's documentation splits a community-made Limited resale 50% to the reseller, 10% to the creator, 10% to the seller or affiliate and 30% to Roblox, so break-even is double what you paid. A Roblox-published Limited carries a 30% fee instead, leaving the seller 70% and a break-even around 1.43 times cost.

Why do clothing Limiteds have higher RAP than hats?

Because creators publish far fewer of them. Clothing is 1.9% of the UGC Limited catalog, and the last 12 months brought 1,021 new clothing Limiteds against 21,057 new Limited hats. Fewer competing designs means less undercutting, even though clothing prints more copies per item than hats do.

How long until you can resell a clothing Limited you just bought?

Roblox's marketplace documentation states a holding period of up to 30 days after purchase. Buying at launch from the creator carries the full window of up to 30 days, while a purchase made on the resale market clears in up to 7 days. The item sits in your inventory and is wearable during the wait.

Are there Limited shoes on Roblox?

Roblox's publishing table includes shoes as a clothing asset type, but the market is tiny. Our catalog holds no community-made Limited shoes and one Roblox-published pair, Signature Kicks from September 2025, with 7,904 copies and a RAP of 634 Robux.

Do classic 2D shirts and pants ever become Limiteds?

Not as paid Limiteds. Roblox's publishing advance table lists classic t-shirts, shirts and pants at 10 Robux with no paid Limited option, and every Limited in our clothing data is a 3D layered item. The seven 3D slots are jacket, shirt, t-shirt, sweater, pants, shorts and dress/skirt.
